Adolescent Therapy:
I work with young adults (aged 10 to 18) with behavioral issues, depression, trauma, attachment, and anxiety.
Family Therapy:
I provide therapy services to help families work through relational distress and conflict. Family therapy can be in addition to individual services that are provided elsewhere. Family therapy targets the negative interactions between family members to create positive connections. Family therapy can help re-pattern attachment issues/insecurities.
Adults:
I work with adults of all ages seeking help for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and adjustment issues.
Couples:
I help couples improve trust, communication, security, and emotional safety in ways that are collaborative rather than confrontational. My approach is to provide an environment where couples can discuss and resolve their issues with empathy and understanding.
Parenting and Co-Parenting:
I provide parents with creative ways to encourage a home environment that is conducive to their children’s physical, mental, social, and psychological well-being. As parents we learn by what we were taught and sometimes we need to re-learn things to better understand and connect with our children.
In addition to helping parents create a nurturing environment, I also help separated parents to raise children in a way that encourages cooperation and mutual respect. When working with co-parents, I emphasize the need for them to work towards shared objectives for the betterment of their children.
